today’s trip to the deathwish black friday sale was sweet. got there mad early and stood in line with a bunch of kids who were also eagerly awaiting the time when they could snag one of the last remaining AN/GUTG tickets. despite having to wake up early and make the trek to beverly it was nice to see some friends and pick up some records.
i ended up leaving deathwish with tickets to AN/GUTG, the new rise and fall 7”, the oathbreaker EP, the background music reissue, a background music/we’re down til we’re underground poster, a cursed patch and a handful of free 7”s and stickers including the meltdown s/t. if i wasn’t being a responsible adult i probably would’ve left there with at least another 3 records but i stopped myself because the holidays are coming.
overall i’d say it was a pretty successful black friday.
bjorn and me tiedied a whole bunch of shirts once and managed to ruin our hands with the bleach pretty succesfully, plus everyone who opened the merch bag got a free instant headache!
